Confirmation

Do you what to know what the church is really all about and how you can be part of it? Then come to confirmation class. Through this class youth learn more about the Bible, Christianity, their relationship with Christ and themselves. It's an opportunity for youth grow in their spiritual maturity and, at the end of the class, join the church as full members.

The class meets Sunday mornings during the Sunday school hour, and each student has a prayer partner and a mentor to help them as they progress through the process.

Confirmation is open to any youth eighth grade or older, though it is important for a youth and family to understand that joining the church through confirmation means a commitment to be part of Mahomet United Methodist Church and to be active in its ministries.
